Dear students and friends,
A much belated Happy New Year! I have been very busy with other projects at the beginning of this year, including working toward the settting up of a Buqi Centre in Bristol. This will be an exiting development for all students and teachers/therapists and we hope to have a dry run first with lots of events on for all who may be interested, including beginners Taijiwuxigong courses and possibly low cost Buqi clinics and talks.Watch this space for more developments.
I did run a Taijiwuxigong day course in January which had a low turn out entirely due to the fact that I didn't tell anyone it was on! The next course in Bristol will be on Sunday, February 7th at St Michael on the Mount, in Bristol. If there is any confusion, all courses will be Taijiwuxigong and this will be the first of an eight part course finishing in November. . This Introduction to Taijiwuxigong will be suitable both for complete beginners and people who would like to deepen their knowledge and existing practice. There will also be a handout to accompany every day session, with explanations of concepts. If anyone would like to book for the whole course then contact me as there is a significant reduction in fees for those who pay upfront All the dates are on the courses page and you will see that in December 2010, I will be teaching a weekend with Carmel Choron This is not part of the eight session course..

Taijiwuxigong retreat in Pembrokeshire

'The art of self healing'
Five days at the beautiful retreat centre of St Non's near St David's in Pembrokeshire. ‘Exploring Taijiwuxigong for self healing. ' Whilst this is not a silent retreat (impossible with Taijiwuxigong!) there will be an opportunity to explore quiet, meditative exercises. This course will be full board. We will have the opportunity to take an hour and a half, wildlife watching, boat trip, weather permitting which is included in the price-(refunded if bad weather) I will be teaching over three days. There will be a day either side to relax and explore Britain 's only coastal National Park. Buqi treatments will be available at a reduced cost bookable in advance.
Cost of course -All inclusive- £290.00
£50.00 deposits required by the end of March 2010
Buqi treatments in Bristol(with me) are at the Chinese Medicine Centre in Brislington, Bristol. There is free parking and treatments should be booked in advance with me, not through the clinic phoneline. There is a Buqi clinic every Wednesday morning at the Centre. A first consultation and treatment is £40.00. Thereafter treatments can be booked in a block (if you need more than one) payable in advance or on the day of treatment. Further treatments are £35.00 per session. I also run a Buqi session on a Thursday morning in Weston Super Mare at Rochester Lodge. Please email me for details.

I am, this year, undertaking some research into a condition known as focal dystonia. If anyone reading this suffers from this condition and might be interested in Buqi treatment and Taijiwuxigong please contact me. I will be able to treat at a reduced rate whilst I am undertaking the research.
.With new students in mind, introduction sheets are available for Buqi therapy, Taijiwuxigong and Tai Chi. Included, are details of what new students can expect from a class, some background to each discipline, notes about study aids and consultations with me, as well as a list of prices and methods of payment. These are available to all students, new and existing. If you are a prospective student please email me and I can email you copies of these.
